Yesterday (Wednesday) I had the privilege of being on the “Hot Seat” with Andrew Chaisson (another intern at Granger Community Church) as we are in the process of wrapping up our time spent at GCC. It was awesome to be able to hear an insight from staff of how much we are appreciated – as well as make us not want to leave and take our next steps.
Tomorrow I get to spend time with the communications team in New Buffalo, MI which will be a time of just kind of “team bonding” and not having to focus on work for those few hours. I am excited to have a time with the team and head up to Michigan for a day. But it is a bitter-sweet moment for all of us since this is Andrew and I’s final full week in Northern Indiana.
Next Wednesday I’m excited to head to First Wednesday at GCC before heading back to Central Indiana for a few days. I’m excited to get home to spend a few days with my family and friends but I know when that happens it means that my internship at GCC is over…which is another bitter-sweet moment.
Next Saturday I make my journey to Northland, A Church Distributed in Longwood, FL and I’m super jazzed about heading down there! I know I’ll need some heavy duty sun screen…but being in Florida and spending tons of time investing into the Kingdom is going to be incredible!
