Over the past few weeks I have enjoyed spending time with the Media Design team at Northland, A Church Distributed. I have learned so much in such a short time frame – not only about the ministries of Northland nor of the people of Northland but also about all of the amazing technologies that can help empower the church.
I will attempt to wrap up this past week in a few lines:
(links with a * after them are to pictures of those events)
Ate some amazing marshmallows by WonderMade
Helped run a camera* during services
Got to worship with Student Ministries* at “I Am Third”
Had a blast with some interns (nearly every night)
Got really disappointed with how Coconut Water tasted (link to my tweet about it)
Created a wall of photos* for a presentation held at InfoComm `11
Went to InfoComm `11 all last Friday…and all the technology blew my mind
Experienced a Meyer Sound demo* that made my ear drums dance…in a good way, of course
Worshiped at Northland*
Met a lot of great people just walking around and introducing myself before the Monday evening service
Overall I’d say this has been an amazing experience so far and I can’t wait to experience and take part in the rest of the summer.
