First Snowfall of the Season

1 minute read

Last Saturday I got to see my first snow fall of the season!

The sad part is that it’s probably going to be my only sight of snow this year.

The worst part – it was fake.

I pulled out my phone and took a quick snapshot of the moment to tweet to those who know I’m sad I’m missing the snow season this year.

I had an amazing opportunity to visit First Baptist Orlando on Saturday for their annual Singing Christmas Trees, an event I would highly recommend visiting if you’re in the Orlando area.

I had no idea what to expect since this was the first time I had ever been but I was very satisfied (no…more than satisfied) with not only the production quality but by the amazing talent that were using their gifts for His glory.

After the performance I got the opportunity to have a formal dinner with some men and women I had just met right there inside First Baptist Orlando’s facility. We had a great time of fun and I was excited to have the opportunity to learn more about some of the people who make up this community that I’ve just moved to.

It’s exciting that I’m getting so connected with others. I can’t wait for more opportunities like this, even if that means missing a few snow showers here and there.
